When it comes to illustrating live, the pre-Christmas period is definitely my favorite time. One reason is, of course, that the atmosphere in department stores and stores is particularly festive and promising during these weeks and automatically infects me. Another and even more important reason is the fact that the theme of Christmas holds undreamt-of possibilities that have always broadened and enriched my creative horizons as an illustrator.
Christmas is the time for a little glitz, glamor and pomp. In combination with well thought-out products and the right flair for the use of paint and brushes, great giveaways are created that are simply fantastic as a gift for customers or guests at events.
So far, not a single Christmas season has passed without me being able to realize one of these products together with a great brand. From live painted gift boxes for Breuninger in lively Christmas motifs, to very graphically designed elegant boxes for Prada with stylized Christmas baubles, to illustrated and calligraphed greeting cards and gift tags for Boss.
One of my most beautiful Christmas projects to date: illustrated Christmas baubles for Boss, which were created in collaboration with the Meissen porcelain manufactory. I made each ball in the elegant white robe unique with small illustrations or lettering and presented it to the customer in an elegant gift box. A very special gift that is sure to find its place in the Christmas tree every year.
But there are many more ideas that will leave a lasting impression in the run-up to Christmas. Personalized bags, illustrated shop windows, Christmas portraits or painted porcelain. The possibilities are endless and individually applicable.
I am already looking forward to turning many more creative ideas into reality and using my experience and, of course, my illustrations to create unique products. Feel free to contact me if you need support and suggestions for your product activation or event!
