On the occasion of the Gallery Weekend in Berlin, I developed two different Berlin-related illustrations for MCM. Of course, the striking landmarks such as the television tower and Brandenburg Gate were not to be missed. The big challenge: I painted both motifs individually and in two steps on fine MCM canvas bags live in the store on Ku’damm.
First I painted the colored areas with a brush and fabric paint. These were then painted over with the Berlin sketches, making them completely unique, which customers could also take home with their names lettered on request.
