To launch the highly anticipated Black Tie Collection, Valentino invited select customers to an exclusive two-day event in Berlin. The event centered on the iconic designs of the new collection, which were presented in an elegant setting. As a live illustrator, I accompanied the event and created custom fashion portraits that served as personal mementos of this special experience for the guests.

Each portrait was created on-site on high-quality watercolor paper in DIN A5 format. Inspired by the looks from the Black Tie Collection, the illustrations highlighted the collection’s characteristic silhouettes, precise tailoring, and striking color palette. In the predominant shades of black, white, and red, hand-drawn works were created that combined the elegance of the Valentino designs with the individuality of the guests portrayed.
