As part of an exclusive event for TOD’S in Madrid, I was invited to be part of the customer experience as a live illustrator. Amidst the elegant atmosphere of the store, I created individual illustrations for guests and VIPs – inspired by the brand’s aesthetic, iconic designs and the style of the visitors themselves.
The live illustrations were created with quick strokes in a time frame of around 10 to 15 minutes per person and offered guests a personalized souvenir of their visit – artistic, modern and created right before their eyes. This form of artistic interaction creates an emotional connection to the brand like no other and turns the shopping experience into something special.
The use of live illustration at high-end events such as TOD’S combines art, fashion and craftsmanship in a special way – and offers me as an illustrator the opportunity to enter into a direct dialog with the audience and let my creativity work live.
