I had the opportunity to create a special live illustration event for the skincare brand Sunday Riley at the bar of the Amano Hotel Berlin. In the stylish, intimate atmosphere of the evening, I created quick, personalized portraits of the invited guests.
Minimalist imagery using ink and watercolor
Minimalist Visual Language Using Ink and WatercolorIn addition to the guest portraits, there was also the option to incorporate selected products from the brand into the illustrations. These were rendered in watercolor and ink, resulting in a minimalist, elegant visual language that captures and visually interprets the aesthetic of the skincare line.
Color scheme with a concept
The color scheme of the artwork was inspired by the event’s visual concept, which featured opulent floral arrangements in bold shades of orange, purple, green, and yellow. This color palette was subtly incorporated into the illustrations, creating a harmonious connection between the interior design, the brand, and the artistic execution.
Each portrait was created on-site in A5 format using ink and watercolors and presented to the guests as a personal memento. The result was a series of vibrant, unique works that captured the evening in an artistic snapshot and highlighted the connection between beauty, experience, and illustration in a special way.
