For the grand opening of the Rosewood Munich, I had the privilege of participating as a live illustrator in an extraordinary event in the heart of Munich. Invited guests gathered in the luxuriously restored, historic premises of the luxury hotel to celebrate its opening. For this occasion, I developed a custom illustration concept that combined architecture and portraiture.
Live illustration for exclusive hotel openings
In the run-up to the event, I created a hand-drawn illustration of the hotel’s impressive facade, which served as the backdrop for all the portraits during the event. Once there, the guests were then individually incorporated into the scene and illustrated live. The result was a personal work of art for each person that reflected not only the moment but also the special atmosphere of the evening and the identity of the Rosewood Munich.
