To mark its 160th anniversary, the legendary hat brand Stetson hosted a special event at its Berlin store – and I had the pleasure of attending the evening as an illustrator. In a stylish setting, invited guests gathered to celebrate the brand’s history and craftsmanship.
An event featuring inspiring guests
For me, it was a particularly inspiring event, not least because of the guests’ consistently extraordinary outfits. The male visitors, in particular, showcased a wide variety of distinctive styles and hat designs, all of which were reflected in every illustration.
Distinctive styles in watercolour sketches
Throughout the evening, I created numerous watercolour illustrations that captured the guests’ distinctive hats and personalities. Using delicate lines and subtle touches of colour, I captured their individual styles and transformed them into vibrant, stylish portraits. Each illustration was created on the spot and presented to the guests as a personal, unique gift – a memento of a special evening dedicated to style, tradition and individuality.
