In December, I took part in a special evening in Berlin as a live illustrator: together with Harper’s Bazaar Germany, Martini hosted an Italian-inspired event at the Bar Basta restaurant. In a stylish setting, invited guests from the fashion, media and creative industries came together to enjoy a delightful evening.
Live sketches over drinks and dinner
The event was all about the Italian way of life. Alongside a delicious dinner, a bar serving a variety of martini cocktails provided the perfect accompaniment to the evening. A DJ created a relaxed atmosphere with his music, whilst guests chatted and enjoyed the evening.
An illustration as a lasting memento
As an illustrator, I was there to sketch the guests live. Throughout the evening, I produced numerous individual drawings that captured the special atmosphere and the guests’ personalities. In this way, each illustration became a personal memento of a stylish, Italian-inspired evening in Berlin.
