During the prestigious Italian men’s fashion fair Pitti Uomo, the menswear label Roy Robson hosted an exclusive reception at the stylish 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino in the heart of Florence. Amid the unique energy of Pitti Uomo, invited guests from the worlds of fashion, media, and business gathered to wind down the evening in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere.
To offer guests a special experience, I gave them the opportunity to have their portraits drawn by me live on site. Accompanied by live music, I created colorful individual and couple portraits in watercolor on A5-sized paper throughout the evening, capturing the stylish looks and unique atmosphere of the event.
Creativity in a lively atmosphere
The creative yet lively atmosphere of the 25hours Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for the illustrations. Amid the Italian flair, design, and music, spontaneous encounters and personal moments unfolded, which were immediately reflected in the drawings.
In the run-up to the event, an atmospheric illustration was created at Roy Robson’s request, which served as the visual foundation for the evening’s invitation. As a result, the illustration not only accompanied the event live on-site but also became an integral part of the overall presentation in the promotional materials, lending the event a personal, artistic touch from the very beginning.
