As part of the reopening of the new Louis Vuitton menswear store at Berlin\u2019s KaDeWe, a special illustrative project was created that blends fashion, urban culture, and artistic interpretation. For this occasion, I was invited to draw iconic Berlin landmarks live and freehand on large-format posters, thereby creating a visual bridge between local identity and international luxury. <\/p>\n
Using black markers, I created a series of minimalist, graphic renderings in A3 format of well-known landmarks such as the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate. The deliberately loose, sketch-like lines give the images an immediate, lively quality and emphasize the creative essence of the moment. <\/p>\n
By placing these landmarks against a surreal-looking canyon backdrop, an intriguing visual contrast was created, giving the images an almost illusionistic effect. As a result, these well-known Berlin landmarks appear to be detached from their urban context and transported into an unexpected, vast landscape. <\/p>\n
The result was a series of works that play with perception and context, inviting viewers to rediscover familiar cityscapes.
