{"id":2652,"date":"2022-09-29T09:25:08","date_gmt":"2022-09-29T07:25:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anjakarboul.com\/projects\/biossance-live-illustration\/"},"modified":"2026-07-17T15:32:54","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T13:32:54","slug":"biossance-live-illustration","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/anjakarboul.com\/en\/projects\/biossance-live-illustration\/","title":{"rendered":"Biossance Hamburg &#8211; Live illustration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">I was invited to serve as a <strong>live illustrator<\/strong> at two exclusive <strong>Biossance launch events<\/strong> in <strong>Berlin<\/strong> and <strong>Hamburg<\/strong> to provide artistic accompaniment for the introduction of new products. During the events, I created custom portraits and fashion sketches of the invited guests, which served as personal mementos of the event. The project was complemented by a series of hand-painted canvas bags featuring four different illustration designs, developed specifically for Biossance.  <\/p>\n<h2>Live illustrations for beauty events and product launches<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The illustrations were created on site in a short space of time and reflected the brand\u2019s philosophy. As Biossance stands for sustainable skincare and plant-based ingredients, I incorporated these values into the design as well. Delicate grasses, Monstera leaves and botanical elements framed the portraits, lending each illustration a natural lightness. The result was a visual language that harmoniously captured the brand\u2019s character and visually complemented the event.   <\/p>\n<h2>Custom illustrations for beauty brands<\/h2>\n<p>In addition to the live portraits, four exclusive illustrations were created, which were hand-painted onto canvas bags and presented to the guests as high-quality giveaways. The combination of live illustration and bespoke merchandise created a cohesive brand experience that had an impact far beyond the day of the event.
