In December 2023, I had the opportunity to work on an extraordinary illustration project for H&M Germany. To mark the departure of Thorsten Mindermann, the long-time head of H&M Germany, I created a series of ten individual portraits that visually chronicle his 35-year career at the Swedish fashion company. Instead of a traditional farewell gift, I created a personal and artistic retrospective that captures defining moments of his professional journey. <\/p>\n
Each portrait focuses on a specific stage of his career. The illustrations depict Thorsten Mindermann in the context of significant collaborations, important milestones, and alongside people who have accompanied and influenced him over many years. The result is a visual chronicle that combines personal memories with the history of an international fashion company and documents key moments in his career in an emotional way. <\/p>\n
Custom illustrations are particularly well-suited for capturing a company\u2019s history and personal achievements in a unique way. Whether it\u2019s an anniversary, a farewell, or a corporate event\u2014custom illustrations create lasting emotional value and tell stories that endure long after the occasion has passed.
